Take a break from the stresses of everyday life by going inside and tapping your wellspring to refresh your body, mind and soul. This actively passive Restorative/Pranayama class stimulates reflexes that quiet the brain and heart. By relaxing in poses for an extended period, with the aid of props, and with the head below or near the same level as the heart, we stimulate our parasympathetic nervous system in a way that promotes physical, mental and emotional relaxation. The class ends with pranayama breathing to amplify and balance the effects of the poses.
