The class theme invites us to abide in a loving open heart and to attend to anything which blocks that openness. It begins with a slow, enlivening and strengthening Vinyasa sequence to open the shoulders, hips and spine in preparation for back bends. The back bends open the lungs and the heart and facilitate abiding in an open heart with joy. This back bend class is balanced with standing poses, twists, inversions and forward bends.
