Levels:  I – II

In this class of Standing Poses we bring awareness to the breath by relaxing the jaw, lips, tongue and throat.  The physical theme of moving the sacrum anteriorly as the thigh bones move posteriorly is seamlessly woven throughout the class with the consciousness of the relaxation of the breath.  This is the test – as we move from asana to asana and work firmly with the body, can we totally relax the breath?  This practice helps us bring more awareness and relaxation into our daily activities one breath at a time.
